Our setting is very multi-cultural with a variety of children from different ethnic backgrounds and with culturally diverse staff members. This is paramount in helping to communicate with children and parents where English may be an additional language. We celebrate all special occasions which are precious to our children and staff. In doing so, we help children understand about individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

All our staff are DBS checked and as a minimum have Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Prevent Duty and Health and Safety training. All our staff hold relevant qualification to work in a nursery. The nursery manager and pre – school leader are highly trained to work with children who may have special educational needs and can support parents to access relevant help.

Level 3 Early Educators / Practitioners

We are looking for both pre-school and toddler room childcare practitioners who have worked in a private day nursery setting.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of paid employment experience working within these roles.

Candidates must possess:

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and have a genuine passion to work within early years
  • Must have key person experience and be able to plan activities based on children’s interests, age, stage and ensure all mandatory paperwork is kept up to date
  • Build relationships with parents and be able to feed back to parents daily ensuring that parents are always kept up to date with their child’s day at the nursery
  • Have a particularly good grasp of the English language both verbal and written
  • Ensure children have a safe and welcoming environment where they can learn
  • Take control of own learning and personal development needs in line with the nursery managers recommendations

Salary – salary is negotiable depending on experience. Hours of work could be anytime between 8-6pm Monday to Friday. Term time/ full time vacancies available.

Level 3 Childcare Apprentice

We are looking for a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice to join our growing nursery.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A level 2 qualification in childcare (and have the certificates to show the nursery manager)
  • A genuine willingness to learn and a real passion to work within the Early Years sector
  • Gained experience working within a private day care setting

Duties will entail:

  • working closely with the room leader/manager
  • providing help and support to staff
  • working closely with children and learning how to interact with children
  • completing apprenticeship alongside placement
